About RealCatholicBlog.com
I haven’t spotlighted this blog yet, but a well-deserved mention to RealCatholicBlog.com, the blog I write-edit-administer for client RealCatholic.com/Ave Maria, a national online retailer of sacred art, gifts and books. We are a proudly traditional Catholic operation, but have gifts suitable for Christian denominations as well. The blog, which launched, softly, July 31, 2009, covers topics concerning the Church, Church history and the Church’s influence in the culture (which includes the political climate and public policy). That covers a lot of ground, especially given that “culture” includes so much — media and mores, to name a few, not to mention social issues that confront the country — but we’re up to it. We’re not afraid to take on the wrongs in or outside the church. Our goal is to become a complete resource for those looking to enhance their Catholic formation or learn more about the Faith, but also to motivate people to spread the faith. After all, there’s lots of fish out there still to be caught. RealCatholic.com, meanwhile, is a click away for those who need that gift for anything from that confirmation candidate or a book on Vatican art for personal edification.
